As one of the most up-to-date cultural events on the Darling Downs, Jumpers and Jazz in July is a mix of jazz and textile sculptures.

A variety of national and local jazz performers take to the streets and heritage hotels during the festival’s official weekend celebrations to jazz it up with Dixieland, Swing and Mainstream melodies of Jazz.

Last year, Jumpers and Jazz in July 2009 heralded fantastic crowds, lovely weather, hot music and inspiring art and performances.

Jumpers and Jazz in July Festival is benefiting from funding under the Queensland Events
Regional Development Program (QERDP).
The QERDP is an investment program designed to extend the flow of economic and social
benefits of events in regional Queensland.
A state-wide initiative, the program is committed to enhancing existing events in regional
Queensland, as well as assisting in the establishment of new events.
Since the QERDP began in 2001, more than $15.3 million has been invested in 705
regional events, an indicator of the important roles these events play their communities
and wider Queensland.
