Queensland's quirky winter festival happens in Warwick each July. A platform for the arts and a celebration of all that is wonderful about winter, the festival's success is due to the community embracing the chill and the opportunity to be inspired by vibrant music and art.
The streets are awash with colours as deciduous trees are dressed up with bright and cheerful textile sculptures (jumpers) to keep them warm! Artists from far and wide create clever and imaginative jumpers for 80 trees in the main street of Warwick.
Musicians perform Dixieland, Swing and Mainstream Jazz throughout the festival with an abundance of free entertainment at Saturday's Jazz party and Sunday's Jazz in Leslie Park.
Involve yourself in the creativity - join a jazz or art workshop, attend an artist's talk or design a tree jumper.
