The Kransky Sisters Visit Warwick In July PDF Print E-mail

Queensland Arts Council presents The Kransky Sisters - Three Bags Full.  "A musical ack like no other.  If dame edna ever retired to the outback and procreated, the result might be something like the Kranskys".  The Scotsman, Edinburhg 2006.  Drawing a cult following wherever they go, these three curious and dysfuncitonal siblings are darkly and strangely alluring. After sell-out international shows and regular TV appearances including the ABC's The Sideshow, many are intrigued to know their melancholy magnetism.

Using bizarre musical equipment to accompany popular songs and off-beat stories, The Kransky Sisters are darkly and strangely alluring. The Sisters perform their peculiar renditions of their favourite songs including the Bee Gees, Grace Jones, Talking Heads and Devo on Tube, musical saw, duelling tambourines, kitchen pot and toilet brush.  This magnetic musical comedy act is not to be missed!

"The Kransky Sisters are three blissfully deadpan characters, who are blissfully unaware of why they are funny."  ABC Comedian Adam Hills

"Bust-a-gut, shed-a-tear, sputteringly funny... Up there with Dame Edna... Don't even think about missing this show."  Helen Razer, The Age.  MICF  2004

The Kransky Sisters will be performing in Warwick Town Hall on the 22nd July at 7.30pm. Bookings at Stephanie's Lingerie (07) 4661 9532
